Lookup TableLast Updated: July 17, 2019
Lookup Tables allow users to create a table with a special column called a "lookup column". Users can then reference Lookup Tables in a vlookup function. The vlookup function will match the value a user passes into the function against the lookup column in the Lookup Table and return any matching column the user wants.
Creating Or Updating Lookup Tables
You create Lookup Tables in Spiff Designer by clicking on the Table icon:
Once here, you click on the "Add New Table" button at the bottom of the page. Then select "Lookup Table".
From here, you can create the name of your table and specify the lower and upper bounds as well as any other custom return values for each table row.
To create custom values for new columns click on the arrow at the top of the column like this and insert a new column:
You can also change the name of custom columns by clicking on their name.
